XCMG wins China's largest export order for green mining equipment - working with Ford River Group to achieve a zero-carbon future!

XCMG and Australia's Fortescue recently held a grand signing ceremony in Beijing for a strategic cooperation agreement on green mining equipment solutions. Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG and XCMG Machinery, and Dr. Andrew Forrest, Executive Chairman of Fortescue, jointly signed a contract for the supply of new energy mining equipment. XCMG will supply 150 to 200 240-ton pure electric mining trucks to Fortescue between 2028 and 2030. This is the largest green mining machinery export order signed by China to date.

This largest export order of green mining equipment from China has been placed with XCMG, a milestone of great significance. This batch of equipment will meet nearly half of Fords River Group's future 240-ton all-electric mining truck fleet, serving its iron ore mining operations and helping it achieve its 2030 goal of zero carbon emissions from land-based operations.
